Water Programs for Africa

Maka Project

We have made great strides in getting the foundation built.

  1. The first T200 has been built and tested and is currently packaged to ship. This will be integrated with the solar and tested in March/April.
  2. The solar bid was published and awarded to African Solar. We are happy as we worked with African Solar in previous trips to Cameroon.
  3. The Hub is almost completed. We love the fact that Jean Felicien Gacha was the project manager and incorporated the help of the village to build.  It just proves our statement that it takes a Village to effectuate change and #teamworkmakesthedreamwork.  We would like to thank construction extraordinaire Hillaire for the great job he is doing on the Hub

Disaster Relief Trailer for South Florida Update

We no longer need help in funding this trailer as Mind Army received a donation to cover the cost and logistics of the trailer.  We are now in build mode.

This trailer will be state of the art and there is nothing like it.  It will not only provide water but these other needs in a Disaster situation:

  1. Electric- The trailer will have solar purchased from our new strategic partner New Use Energy. The design of the fold up panels should be completed shortly.  We will have enough Alternative Energy from the sun to run the water machine but also to charge phones.
  2. Communications- We added a communications tower that will enabler people access to Wi-Fi and cellular service if the disaster decimates those services (which we saw happen in Maui-see we learn)
  3. A small generator to charge batteries in case of lack of sun or to meet the need.
  4. Solar tents create energy and provide shelter to those getting water.

We have an aggressive timeline for completing the trailer.  We have shared a booth at the Disaster Relief Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center with NUE Use energy and hope to have it ready for a meet and greet.

Maui Update

We recently returned from a short trip to Oahu and Maui in January are hearts are full of gratitude that our technology is being part of the solution for those in need.

Noah’s Arc Disaster Relief Trailer is being used at the Pu’uhunoa O Nene site in Kuhului Maui for Project Vision.  It is meeting the water needs as well as filling up Water Tanks to ship to 2 additional sites in Lahaina.  Having 3 sites receiving water from our machines is awesome and what we envisioned when we got involved in this project.

We also are working with other groups on solar/water trailers.  Stay tuned as we want to be involved in helping those that are homeless after the fires took their homes and get them out of the hotels and into a living space they can call their home.
